# About Tesora: our mission and the team

# Tesora gives actuaries their judgment back.

We take the assembly off the desk: the data pull, the reconciliation, the reformatting. What is left is the part somebody had to be an actuary to do.

We are the frontier company putting these models to work on actuarial problems. The goal is an actuary’s day spent on the calls only an actuary can make.

**Why we exist**

**Actuarial work is not conducive to LLMs**

Most AI tools are built to answer a question and move on. A rate filing, a reserve review and a comparative study are none of those: they run for weeks and carry numbers somebody signs their name to. That is what the harness is for.

Tesora is an Executive Partner of the Casualty Actuarial Society for the 2026-2027 program year, beginning October 1, 2026. That covers student access to the workbench and the CAS open-source community meetings, where the people doing this work actually talk to each other.
